About

Hi, I’m Beth and I am a UK Wedding Photographer currently based in Yorkshire.

I like nerdy stuff: gaming, graphic novels, animation, character design, tv shows… there’s a lot I enjoy and I tend to dive headfirst into my love for things. I don’t tend to do things by halves; I give everything my full attention and enthusiasm.
I love to illustrate, dress in costumes, create stories, listen to the same song over and over again until I get sick of it, mentally argue with myself over whether I prefer Autumn or Spring, listening to true crime podcasts, design costumes/characters, and above all… just being creative.

Although that’s a lot of overall stuff I like, I seriously enjoy the whole process of Wedding Photography. I love meeting new people and finding out about them, who they are and what they love. I enjoy seeing the emotions that come out at a wedding and capturing the stories that develop around me. My roots in photography came from Portraiture, so it makes sense that is has blossomed into Wedding Photography.

What does ‘Unique Unions’ mean to me?

As a part of calling myself Unique Unions, I embrace weddings that don’t always fit a traditional mould and work to the partners’ personalities and their own loves. As a person who doesn’t half-arse her own love of anything, I enjoy seeing that come through on each day celebrating love. Of course, even more traditional weddings always bring a couple’s personality through and I relish capturing those too.
I also embrace all kinds of love and ways of uniting that love. I welcome civil partnerships, vow renewal, elopements, and hand fasting ceremonies alongside traditional and religious weddings.
As someone in a non-traditional relationship, it is important to me that all love is celebrated.
